I've worked with many university students struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship struggles, trauma & PTSD, loss & grief, low self-esteem, perfectionism, general stress, being away from home, issues related to sexuality, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity .
Given my work at the university, I'm familiar with the many stressors students face these days. I'm also well versed with both on and off campus supports. I'm a strong advocate for students, i.e. helping them to access supports through Accessibility Services, Counselling & Health Services, etc.
Tiffany Lazic of The Hive and Grove specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, addiction/compulsive behaviour, family-of-origin issues.
Spiritual psychotherapy is not about a particular religious or spiritual approach. Spiritual psychotherapy is based on the understanding that, in spite of stresses that may cause us to react from a place of fear and Shadow, there is a resilient part of each person - the Spirit - that is constant, though it may feel unreachable at times. Spiritual psychotherapy utilizes varied approaches to reconnect to an experience of self that is engaged, empowered, and enthusiastic about life.
