EngSoc is looking for delegates to attend the Professional Engineers Ontario Student Conference (PEO-SC) and the Conference on Diversity in Engineering (CDE)!
Delegates will be fully funded to travel and attend the conference, and no previous EngSoc or conference experience is required (we only ask that you be an undergraduate engineering student enrolled at Waterloo).
PEO-SC will be held November 3–5 2017 in Toronto, and will be focused on professional development as an engineer. There may be sessions on career planning, engineering in politics, the significance of the P. Eng (and how to obtain it), and the future of the engineering profession.
CDE will be held November 10–13 2017 in Hamilton, and is intended to inform and engage engineers from across the country on matters of all types of diversity within engineering.
You are encouraged to apply to both conferences!
Applications are due Friday, October, 6th at 11:59pm.
