This March, Waterloo Engineering students are keeping a proud tradition alive with Bus Push 2025, a highlight of our National Engineering Month (NEM) celebrations!

Together, we’ll pull a bus through downtown Waterloo to raise $10,000 for the Canada Children’s Hospitals Foundations, an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children across the country. Every dollar raised will go toward funding vital programs, cutting-edge research, and life-saving treatments for kids in need.

Why March?

March is National Engineering Month, and Bus Push 2025 is the perfect way to showcase the spirit of innovation, teamwork, and giving back that defines Waterloo Engineering. The event culminates in a massive NEM celebration, complete with food trucks, purpling stations, games, and live music. It’s a month of pride and purpose, ending with an unforgettable day of impact and fun.

How Does It Work?

The Bus Push is more than just a charity event—it’s a challenge! Engineering classes will compete to see who can raise the most money. Each donation helps your chosen class climb the leaderboard, bringing them closer to the ultimate reward: a nostalgic Pizza Party for the winning class! The winning class will also receive a one-of-a-kind earned patch as a reward for their dedication and efforts!

Tickets include:

Official participation in the Bus Push
Transportation back to campus on the bus after the event.

Note: You can still participate in the Opening Ceremony at 10 AM and After-Party from 12-4 PM without a ticket, but you will not be able to pull the bus.
