Our Joint Annual General Meeting will be taking place at 10am on Sunday March 29th, 2020! This post outlines some necessary information for the upcoming meeting to keep you all informed and to provide some resources.
The deadline to submit a motion to JAGM is Saturday March 7th at 17:00, please send all motions to the JAGM Chair via jagm@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca. A guideline to writing motions is available in the JAGM folder.
If you are unable to attend the meeting in person you can either attend remotely or proxy your vote. More information on remote attendance will be coming soon and the proxy form is also found in the JAGM folder. All members attending in person can hold two proxies (meaning you can hold a total of three votes). Please submit your proxy to jagm@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca by Saturday March 28th, 2020.
A copy of our financial statements and auditors report for the previous year is now publicly available for your review and a motion to ratify this report will be brought to JAGM. There is also a list of changes to our By-Laws that have taken place over the past year that will also be brought for ratification. These documents can be found at: bit.ly/JAGM2020
