Novelties is the official Waterloo Engineering Society Swag Store, and the best place on campus to buy all kinds of engineering novelty items. It’s located in CPH Foyer, directly next to POETS. Though the store may look small from the outside, you will be surprised just how much merchandise there is available for sale. From t-shirts, hoodies, and pajama pants, to glassware, hats and scarves, and lots of patches, Novelties has it all. Make sure you come in person to check out all the great merchandise available. Select items are occasionally sold on the Novelties Website found at https://waterloo-engineering-society.square.site/. The store is constantly getting new items, and if you have any ideas for new swag, then please let us know at vpfinance@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca.
For the Novelties purchases, come to the EngSoc office (Orifice) and a staff member can help you with your purchase!
Periodically throughout a term Novelties may hold a fire sale to help clear out old merchandise and make room for new things. Be sure to keep an eye out for these sales!
Thanks to our new Square POS, Novelties accepts cash, credit, and debit. If you can’t make it to the store during open hours, send an email to vpfinance@engsoc.uwaterloo.ca, or stop by the Orifice (CPH 1327) between 8:30 and 4:30 and we can organize a time to let you in to buy some merchandise.
