UW Engineering Society

EngSoc occasionally organizes joint events with the other students societies on campus (and satellite campuses). In the recent past we have held joint events with Architecture, Math, and AHS. The purpose of these events is to promote friendship and awareness with students from other faculties on campus, and to rekindle a unified school spirit. The Inter-Faculty Director usually organizes an event or two every term. Examples include: Eng/AHS Semi-Formal, Eng vs AHS Water Polo, Archineering (Take a bus to Cambridge to meet Architecture students), Math vs Eng Penny Pincher Charity Event. EngSoc believes that, as engineering students, we need to be able to interact with non-engineering students. Students from other faculties as always welcome at our events, because we believe in a unified Waterloo.
