Development Commissioner

The Development Commissioner for the Spring 2012 term will not be filled.

Overview

The Development Commissioner is in charge of coordinating feedback for both the Executives and the Commissioners on a term-by-term basis.  This feedback will be collected through mechanisms such as Closed Member Sessions, online feedback, or other means. 

 

Additionally, the Development Commissioner is responsible for implementing new initiatives proposed by the Executives or other Commissioners.  If these initiatives are successful, the Development Commissioner is tasked with identifying who should be responsible for overseeing the initiative, and what other resources are necessary to implement the initiative.

 

Day-to-Day Duties

- Reading Executive and Conference Reports

- Maintaining a list of potential initiatives

- Presentations at every Engineering Society Council Meeting

 

Possible Goals to Explore

- Adequately soliciting feedback on the Society and their officer’s performance

- Implementing a set number of new initiatives
