The Communications Commissioner for the Spring 2012 term is Josh Fenning

 Overview

The Communications Commissioner would be in charge of all aspects of communications involved in running the Society.  This includes currently implemented strategies such as the mailing list, Event-A-Tron, ticker board, and posters. The Communications Commissioner shall continuously explore new ways to communicate events, announcements and other relevant information to the general engineering undergraduate society.This person would help support the other directors and encourage them to get the word out about their events.  This director would be encouraged to provide specific ideas for specific events and offer to help out when necessary. 

Day-to-Day Tasks

- Mailing list approvals (new members and e-mails)

- Keeping the Event-A-Tron up-to-date

- Poster approval authority

- Keeping the ticker board up-to-date

- Contacting Directors regarding upcoming events

- Supporting Directors with advertising efforts

- Updating the Wiki on the website

- Add information to the website

- Liaise with Marketing Club

Possible Goals to Explore

- Explore new ways to communicate with its members

- Work with the Student Life Commissioner to assist Directors
