Scholarship Bank: End of Term Update

Hello all!

I'm very happy to announce that the Engineering Scholarship Bank has now exceeded ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

This milestone is even more impressive considering it was launched halfway through the Winter 2011 term and is 100% run by volunteers and student submissions. The newest Engsoc student service has reached $1 million worth awards, bursaries, and grant listings before it's first birthday!

Money can't buy you happiness, but let's give you some anyway

Hey A-Soc!

Money isn’t everything, but it is the topic of this blog post.

Is your work term not as financially stimulating as you’d hoped? Is commuting eating up your cash? Are you careful with your money, but wish you had a bit more of it around? Well, then this video contest is for you!

Scholarship Bank Update!

Hey A-soc!

Something new and exciting is happening with the Engineering Society Scholarship Bank. With almost $900,000 worth of awards and bursaries since the launch in March, we're well on our way to our goal to surpass $1 million by the end of the Fall term. However, we need your help to make this possible!

Whatchu Know About VP Operations?

Hello lovers, fighters and space cowboys of Engineering Society A!

I guess I'm a little late to the blog scene, so let's get right to it with a quick introduction.

I’m Angela Stewart. I just finished my 3A term in Chemical Engineering, I work at a garbage factory, and I’ll be your VP Operations under a trial run for the new executive structure. Never heard of VP Operations before? In that case, you may have some questions and I may have some answers, so let’s go!

Where did VP Internal go?
The VP Operations (aka V-Pops) is still named VP Internal in the Constitution, so VPI didn’t just disappear. The Engineering Society retained all the great social events you know and love under the previous VP Internal portfolio. However, the VP Internal role as you know it no longer exists. More info after the jump!
